Senior Business Analyst - Turn Data into Impact at STARK GROUP IT

Make an Impact from Day One
As part of our newly established Data Management team, you will be a key player to enable our digital transformation program—currently focused on Denmark, with future expansion across the Nordics. You will work closely with stakeholders to define data needs, contribute to the design of an effective data management process, and safeguarding data governance. By ensuring the right information is available for decision-making and upskilling our stakeholders, you will help STARK become a truly data-driven organization, making a lasting impact on our business operations.
Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will mature Stark to become more data driven, transforming data into a strategic asset. Your expertise will help drive our digital transformation forward, ensuring data becomes a valuable tool for decision-making. To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Gather, document, and validate business and data requirements in collaboration with stakeholders (e.g. Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Sales App, Order Management)
  • Understand and ensure the flow of data including identifying data sources and the owners of the data fields, prioritizing in which order databases should be updated and investigate how end users will use the data
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams.
  • Ensure data governance best practices are followed
  • Help to mature our data management process and analyse incoming data requests, ensuring that data is available across the digital transformation. This means that you will manage and prioritize change requests, assessing their impact on project timelines
  • Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Open Metadata to ensure smooth collaboration between technical and business teams.

The job is placed in Aarhus, Denmark with and expected travel up to 20 days a year.
What You Bring

  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • You have a keen attention to detail and the ability to see and communicate the broader strategic picture to senior leaders.
  • Expertise in data management, SQL (nice-to-have), and tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in business domain (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, Sales) or other business domains.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.

… And you likely come with a background such as an MSc in IT, Business Administration, Communication, or a relevant field.
