Reporting to the Manager, Business & Systems Analysis Chapter, the Senior Business & Systems Consultant will be a key member of the Retail Wealth Platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of advisor experiences and drive strategic initiatives within Sun Life’s Retail Advice and Solutions (RA&S) division.
As part of the Platform team, you will possess a strong understanding of the wealth industry, specifically in the CIRO Dealer space (formerly MFDA), including regulatory, technological, and competitive trends. The Senior Business & Systems Consultant conducts need analysis, defines capabilities and features, collaborates with others for system design; and supports the team to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities
  • As part of the Retail Wealth Platform, you will collaborate with teams in Operations, Compliance and Portfolio Management to define business capabilities and technical solutions required to grow the investment dealer business.
  • Lead and manage discovery work to understand user needs and translate them into system capabilities for delivery by development squads.
  • Assess current state process and systems to determine how future changes will impact systems, processes, procedures, and clients throughout the organization.
  • Create and/or provide comments into internal and external communications and user documentation.
  • Review and provide comments on business and technical documentation.
  • Act in an advisory capacity as well as coach/mentor to Business & Systems Analysts.
