SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST – MULTIPLE OPENINGS (HYBRID REMOTE - U.S. BASED)

We are seeking several experienced Business Analysts to support multiple initiatives focused on process improvement, user experience, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) enhancement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, software requirements gathering, and process re-engineering.
• 8+ years working with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong experience with business process mapping and workflow improvement.
• Proficiency in developing user stories, use cases, and UX mockups/wireframes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience using Modern Requirements for requirement management.
• 3+ years of experience using Atlassian Jira for tracking issues and managing Agile workflows.
• Experience working within state or local education agencies or with education-related applications.
• Experience with education-related applications such as FSP, TSDS, or state-managed help desk systems is a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the software development team. You will be responsible for eliciting requirements, documenting system functionality, defining use cases, and ensuring successful software implementations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, process re-engineering expertise, and proficiency in Agile methodologies. Experience working with Modern Requirements, Jira, and UX wireframing tools is highly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and document business and system requirements through interviews and stakeholder collaboration.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories and use cases that align with Agile best practices.
• Develop process flow diagrams, mockups, and wireframes to improve software functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test cases and validating system functionality.
• Identify and drive process improvements for greater efficiency and system effectiveness.
