This transition is supported by a strategic transformation programme designed to speed up our transition. It will provide the roadmap for Te Reo Tātaki, to continue as a vibrant, commercially sustainable media organisation that delivers trusted news, sport, and the best of international and local entertainment to Aotearoa for generations to come.

THE OPPORTUNITY - TE TŪRANGA

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work as part of the Content Business Systems project. The role will be involved with different areas of the business to help the project be successful in the delivery of this strategic objective. It will involve the elicitation and documentation of requirements / user stories; current and future state documentation; solution design; assisting with the development of test cases; and user acceptance through to training coordination. Project delivery methods can be agile, waterfall or hybrid.
The role will focus on the Business Systems and Content Media streams. We need a strong Senior BA who has worked at an enterprise level, can work closely with the PM to deliver on the various projects in these streams. High level requirements across legacy system changes where you have complex integrations and data migrations.

Responsibilities
  • A minimum of 7 years in a Business Analyst role including roles within large projects and, preferably, large transformational programmes of work
  • Wealth of experience working with project teams across varied projects including but not limited to Application system changes, digital, data migration, BI and reporting,
  • An understanding of the media industry is highly desirable in particular across the Content Media Supply Chain (from rights management and programming and scheduling through to digital and traditional broadcast distribution) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methods
  • Experience working in technology and business focused projects
  • Experience working within projects and programmes delivering significant transformational change
  • Familiarity and experience with Excel and Jir
