About the Role: The Senior Business Analyst role leads requirements analysis, process re‑engineering, and documentation to support the University’s strategic initiatives—with a strong focus on cybersecurity—working closely with stakeholders to deliver effective, customer‑centric digital and operational improvements Position Key Duties You will be a highly skilled business analyst with: Postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience. Strong experience delivering cybersecurity initiatives, working with multidisciplinary teams to manage risk and ensure compliance. Proven ability in business analysis practise (aligned to BABOK), system integration, and developing business cases (including financial modelling). Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in Waterfall and Hybrid delivery environments is paramount. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ACSC Essential Eight), data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, APPs) Familiarity with higher education sector processes is advantageous. Salary: HEP 9 - $132,942 - $138,314 + 17% Super Employment Type: Full Time – 2 Year Fixed Term Hours: 36.75/1 FTE Location: Footscray Park Campus – 3 days on site.
