Reporting to the, AVP, TPM Modernization Program the Senior Business Architect will

  • Collaborate with TPM Leadership/ teams and key partners (e.g. Platforms) to understand their strategy, vision, priorities (e.g., OKR’s, objectives) and pain points to understand current state and desired future state
  • Build target state that drives alignment to address gaps and pain points identified for the TPM to achieve their objectives
  • Build and advance the integrated roadmap that addresses key elements. Provide input on sequencing of events required to achieve the future/target state
  • Challenge assumptions/ideas/data/process and help business evolve towards the desired future state
  • Understand business strategies with deep insight on required capabilities (including industry trends and vendor plans)
  • Socialize and participate in the evolution and application of the Business Architecture practice

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree or Business Architecture certificate and/or 10+ years relevant experience
  • Dexterous ability to cut through complexity and ambiguity to communicate and facilitate (help leaders visualize concepts, simplify complex scenarios, drive and influence prioritization & consensus)
  • Good understanding of banking business fundamentals to include (Products & Services, front/middle/back office functions & interactions, market/industry players & trends)
  • Can see and articulate the business strategy interdependencies across the enterprise
  • Ability to connect the dots across products, channels, and segments to identify areas of value for the enterprise
  • Ability to capture, communicate and align strategic objectives with business and operating models using multiple tools in the business architect toolkit.
  • Can help articulate and translate business strategy to actionable OKRs, investment roadmaps
  • Previous management consulting experience is an asset

QUALIFICATIONS

Hard Skills: Someone oriented to architecture methodologies (prefer Business Architecture), modeling techniques (such as business capabilities, roadmaps, target states), taxonomy adoption (such as BIAN) and technology enablement and managing product roadmaps (such as HOPEX).
Soft Skills: Consensus, negotiation, ability to cut through complexity and ambiguity, ability prioritize and multitask, management consulting; change mindset and behaviors.
