We are looking for Senior Business Controller to be part of our Finance controlling team and SD Worx Finland management team.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Business Controller, you will work closely with SD Worx Finland management team and serve as the go-to person for all matters related to finance and accounting concerning Finland. You play a critical role in supporting key management decisions, financial planning, reporting and analysis based on business information. The regular interaction with the local and global accounting teams, other controllers and especially with the SD Worx Finland business directors is critical in order to be successful in this role.

In your Senior Business Controller role, you will report directly to the Cluster Controller of Nordics, UK and Ireland and in matrix to Country Leader of Finland.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES::

  • Be the finance SPOC for the SD Worx Finland management team by helping to translate strategic decisions into financials and use the financials to steer the business in the right direction.
  • Understand the business model and market to be able to challenge the business when needed.
  • Based on financials and business discussions, manage risks and opportunities together with your business.
  • Owner of the budget, forecast and long-term planning of your business area.
  • Create and challenge the monthly analysis and management reporting of actuals in comparison with budget, forecasts & previous year as well as historical trends.
  • Interact with local accounting team.
  • Prepare and communicate management and financial data during business reviews.
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses e.g. for business cases to support management with financial decisions.
  • Participate in local and global initiatives, which may request occasional traveling.
