SENIOR BUSINESS DATA ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This project is part of the Data Transformation team within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and focuses on the buildout of foundational reporting data architecture in line with the client’s data transformation journey. The role involves designing and implementing infrastructure and data flows to support Enterprise risk functions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data for regulatory reporting.

SENIOR BUSINESS DATA ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 12+ years of experience in Banking or Finance; Risk experience is required
• Highly experienced in leading complex, large-scale initiatives
• Strong business analysis competency with hands-on data analysis experience
• Effective communicator with multi-mode communication skills
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance big picture understanding with attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Data Governance Policy or Operating Model preferred

SENIOR BUSINESS DATA ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with data governance
• Experience working with remote and global teams
• Master’s degree

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Drive execution of transformation efforts for the clients data governance policy alignment
• Partner with data consumers on report data requirements and data quality challenges
• Analyze data lineage documentation and support creation of process maps
• Support updates for key data capabilities including metadata repositories
• Partner with business data owners to ensure data quality improvements
• Identify data quality hot spots and determine strategies to improve controls
• Manage change management processes related to data governance procedures
• Identify opportunities to streamline data transformation initiatives
• Prepare and present status updates to stakeholders
• Drive meetings to solve issues and challenges with input from business partners
• Provide user and operational support using Agile methodologies
