JOB SUMMARY

This role will participate in and support the development of energy infrastructure projects specficially in the areas of geographic informaiton system (GIS) analysis. This position will be responsible for maintaining the department’s ArcGIS based mapping and analysis platforms. Additional responsibilities include leading certain project sub-tasks with full responsibility and accountability by coordinating necessary internal and external resources, as needed, to manage and deliver results, providing analytical and coordination support for the evaluation, analysis, and due diligence activities and performing analyses of highly complex issues and assisting in recommendations on certain opportunities. A moderate to high level of originality and innovation is required. Participate with director or manager on executive presentations and interaction with government agencies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
5+ years knowledge of the energy business and markets, generally acquired through related work experience, including the use of GIS systems. Demonstrated leadership experience with complex analysis, negotiations, and project management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong GIS and computer skills.

DEGREE OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND DEMONSTRATED RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY BE ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF PREFERRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
