Overview As Senior Business Development Coordinator, you will coordinate business development strategies, client databases, and pursuit management activities. Responsibilities The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Assists in the coordination of the company-wide business development program. Performs customer outreach on potential new customers. Discusses customers’ preferred requirements and arranges for meetings between prospective customers and representatives of various company functional areas. Compiles and analyzes statistics pertinent to the company's business development. Supports daily correspondence and activities of business development leadership. Supports pipeline database development and data entry. Updates database with pursuit notes and activities. Manages event registration, dues, sponsorships and memberships. Research existing and prospective clients and projects to support business strategy. Works closely with preconstruction and proposal teams to coordinate pursuit management activities. Maintains meeting calendars, prepares meeting agendas and assists with material development. Attends and participates in industry outreach and events as needed. Local and out of state travel – 25-30% of the time. Performs additional assignments per management’s direction. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in sales, business development, administration, and/or related position or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications: Sales or Business Development experience. Three years plus of experience in sales, business development, administration and/or related job role. Prior experience in construction industry. Prior experience in the construction industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (heavy on excel and PowerPoint). Additional Information: Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. The position is based in our Irvine, CA office. This position does not include sponsorship for a United States work authorization. The salary range for this position is between $95,000-$115,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
