This role is home office based but with regular visits to our office in Munich as requested.
Heavy Travel will be essential for this role.

ABOUT YOU

We want you to have a minimum of five years sales experience within distribution or the channel. Our most successful people are commercially minded, focused, supportive, pragmatic and creative. Does this sound like you?

As a Senior Business Development Manager, we want you to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions through high calibre narratives and work cross-organizationally to build trust and engagement.

  • Your main responsibilities will be to manage and deliver defined go-to-market programs in close collaboration with Climb and Vendors
  • Provide generalist Industry BD support, with industry awareness and broad expertise in Climb Portfolio providing training and knowledge share to partner and customers.
  • Be the focal point in the region about Cybersecurity, AI-Trainings, Vendors and Solutions.
  • Targeting the new and exciting partner and customer regarding Security
  • Provide feedback on opportunities and sales activity
  • Provide regular reports as required by the vendor, which may include weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Manage special pricing or high value sales opportunities
  • Work with vendors on shows, exhibitions and general sales activities
  • Engage with key decision makers within targeted resellers
  • Assist the Marketing team with marketing activity as required
  • Perform sales floor walks and necessary innovative sales activities at reseller offices
  • Assist resellers sales personnel as necessary, and as commercially prudent, in pre-sales activitie

Internal liaison and development

  • Work closely with Climb Marketing and Sales team to communicate, develop and understand activity required by reseller
  • Work with internal management on Business Intelligence and analytical activities
  • Assist in the creation of Business Development plans

Generate new business sales and opportunities

  • Stimulate sales activity within the resellers
  • Progress and follow up vendor leads
  • Ensure timely and lucrative closure of key sales opportunities
