Location: UK & Europe (with some international travel)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid working
Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a driven, technically minded Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Business Development, you’ll play a key role in expanding our client base while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in electrical and control systems who thrives on building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities

· Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
· Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise profitability and client satisfaction.
· Act as a trusted advisor, offering market insights and technical expertise.
· Build relationships at all levels, from engineers to senior decision-makers.
· Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring alignment with company parameters.
· Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
· Maintain accurate sales pipeline and client data in the CRM system.
· Represent DFS at client meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events.
