dormakaba is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for its LEGIC business based remotely in the United States. This role is responsible for increasing business volume and the number of project design-ins through the identification, penetration and closing of business opportunities in market areas. This individual will be responsible for running business development, sales, and marketing activities, and for sustainably growing LEGIC’s business in the United States.
LEGIC, a wholly owned subsidiary of dormakaba with headquarters in Switzerland, is the global leading company in secure identification and legitimation management through mobile and contactless smart card technologies. LEGIC’s product portfolio includes digital card service for mobile wallets, encryption key management tools, mobile SDKs, smart-card and secure hardware modules for the access control industry.

Responsibilities
  • Drive business development, direct sales, and account management for LEGIC partners, strategic industry players, and end user customers across North America
  • Create, set up and participate in lead-generation efforts and marketing initiatives using segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies
  • Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities in the electronic access control market, supporting pre-sales, solution design, and value chain marketing
  • Identify, coach, and develop local security consultants in North America
  • Develop and manage partnerships, channels, and tactics—particularly for promoting LEGIC’s Apple/Google Wallet functionality in corporate, hospitality, multi-housing, and campus sectors. Build deep technical and commercial understanding of customer needs; represent LEGIC to clients, standardization bodies, and industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and market intelligence efforts; travel as needed to client sites and trade shows.
