About the team: Drive immediate growth and market adoption of Austraclear and ASX Tri-Party Collateral Services by leveraging established senior relationships across investors, issuers and arrangers within the fixed income and debt capital markets. This role sits within the Fixed Income team, part of the broader Securities & Payments division. As the Business Development Manager – Fixed Income, you will play a critical role in accelerating growth and client adoption of Austraclear and ASX’s Tri-party Collateral Management services. This is a senior, externally facing role requiring an established network across the Australian fixed income ecosystem. You will leverage existing, deep relationships with institutional investors, issuers, arrangers, banks and intermediaries across debt capital markets to drive immediate commercial outcomes and expand the footprint of ASX’s fixed income and collateral services. What you will be doing: How we do things at ASX is just as important as what we do. Drive Immediate Market Impact: Leverage established relationships across investors, issuers, arrangers, banks, custodians and intermediaries to accelerate adoption of Austraclear and ASX Collateral services. Relationship-Led Growth: Act as a trusted market partner to senior decision-makers, using deep market insight and credibility to influence client strategy and commercial outcomes. Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that expand usage across existing clients and unlock new opportunities within the fixed income and debt capital markets. Pipeline Ownership: Own and manage the end-to-end sales pipeline, converting identified opportunities into contracted outcomes and delivering against revenue and growth targets. Market Intelligence: Bring strong investor-side perspective and real-time market insight to inform product positioning, client solutions and go-to-market activity. Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Legal, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams to deliver tailored solutions, support onboarding and ensure seamless client delivery. What you will bring: Must have Established Market Network: You bring existing, senior-level relationships across Australia’s fixed income ecosystem, including institutional investors, issuers, arrangers, banks and/or intermediaries, and can activate these relationships immediately. Deep Fixed Income Expertise: Extensive understanding of fixed income and debt capital markets, particularly from the investor perspective, with strong knowledge of issuance, settlement, collateral and market infrastructure. Proven Sales Leadership: Demonstrated success in senior business development or institutional sales roles within financial markets, with a track record of delivering growth through relationship-led selling. Market Credibility: Highly credible with clients, able to operate confidently at C-suite and senior executive level and represent ASX as a trusted market partner. Commercial & Strategic: Strong commercial acumen, able to identify market opportunities, shape client solutions and execute sales strategies that deliver tangible results. Self-Starting & Accountable: Comfortable operating with autonomy, accountability and pace, while collaborating effectively across a complex, regulated organisation.
