ABOUT WING:

Wing offers drone delivery as a safe, fast, and sustainable solution for last mile logistics. Consumer appetites for on-demand services are increasing, but current delivery methods are inefficient, costly, and contribute to road accidents and air pollution. Wing’s fleet of highly automated delivery drones can transport small packages directly from businesses to homes on-demand, in minutes. We design, build, and operate our aircraft, and offer drone delivery services on three continents. Our technology is designed to be easy to integrate into existing delivery and logistics networks, offering a scalable drone delivery solution for a broad range of businesses. Wing is a part of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, and our mission is to create the preferred means of delivery for the planet. If you’re ready to do the greatest work of your life, come join us.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Wing is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Business Development Manager for our Strategic Partnerships team, based remotely in the United States. The ideal candidate has extensive experience nurturing and expanding relationships with top-tier global companies, developing and executing account growth strategies, negotiating commercial contracts, and ensuring the long-term success of key enterprise accounts. While the commercial priority is the US, this role may oversee accounts globally.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Oversee and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts across the retail, restaurant, healthcare, real estate, and tech verticals.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive expansion, retention, and increased value for Wing within existing partnerships.

  • Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell of Wing’s services by understanding partner operations, strategic objectives, and pain points.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Wing stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, successful service delivery, and continued partner satisfaction. This includes:

    • Working with technical teams (hardware and software) to ensure partner feedback is captured and used to further improve services.

    • Partnering with the Operations team to ensure Wing is achieving partner commitments and delivering the desired experience day-to-day.
    • Liaising with Legal and Finance teams on contract renewals, amendments, and commercial terms.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks within accounts, ensuring long-term health and profitability of partnerships.
    • Contribute to refining our account management strategy and service offerings based on partner learnings and market feedback.
