About the role:
As a Senior Business Development Representative (SBDR) at Profitero, you will be responsible for developing and qualifying potential new customers of our solution – as well as agency partners – through outbound email and calling campaigns.
In this role, you will work very closely with the marketing team and sales representatives, who will equip you with the tools, analytics, and coaching you’ll need to be successful. This is a critical sales position that will have a direct impact on generating a 3X sales pipeline and contributing to the revenue of Profitero. This role will provide the perfect opportunity to launch your career in a SaaS company and in sales.

What you’ll do:

  • Qualify Inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Outbound prospecting: combining cold calling, email & social media campaigns in order to drive engagement
  • Working with Account Executives to help drive key account engagement
  • Hold discovery calls to qualify leads and prospects, to determine whether there is a sales opportunity
  • To continue to develop new, innovative ways of engaging prospects
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Who you are:

  • You are educated to degree level
  • You have an aptitude for sales or 1+ years of sales experience
  • You have a track record of achieving academically, in sports or extracurriculars
  • You have excellent communication skills in person and over the phone with active listening skills
  • You can prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
  • You can manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated
  • You are resilient, articulate, ambitious, tenacious, and driven
