Title: Senior Business Finance Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $85,500 - $129,500
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

SENIOR BUSINESS FINANCE ANALYST ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree* in Accounting or Finance; Master’s Degree* preferred.
  • CPA, CMA or other certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience or 5 years of related Finance and/or Accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience including financial planning, budgeting/forecasting, reporting and analysis for a full income statement preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proven experience in financial modeling and decision making.
  • Ability to learn new systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of analytical processes, cost drivers, tools, and techniques required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience including the ability to drive results, collaborate, manage complexity and problem solve, and effectively communicate.
  • Robust critical thinking, initiative, analytical skills, proactive approach, and creativity required.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual earnings estimates and analysis in support of key commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and other activities.
  • Support the annual strategic planning process by performing key planning activities and complex financial modeling.
  • Analyze product sales, pricing, costs and margins to support commercial managers’ understanding and decision making.
  • Work closely with Business Finance, Cost Accounting, Revenue Analysts, and General Accountants to coordinate business finance closing and other activities across the business.
  • Proactively review pre-closing results in transaction systems to identify any accounting or earnings issues or concerns; adhere to monthly and quarterly closing schedules.
  • Combine actual and estimate financial information across the business to provide relevant analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Provide timely and insightful analysis of actual results vs. estimate and historical results.
  • Support the Product and Business leaders and others with ad hoc analysis including presentation material.
