As our Senior Business Improvement Specialist, your role is centred on developing and anchoring Six Sigma capabilities, leading complex investigations, and ensuring quality improvements that directly benefit our customers and business performance.
Your Team and Environment
You will be based at our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, reporting to Martin Bonefeld, Director Quality Methods & Data Analytics.

Our team is responsible for implementing a structured and predictive quality approach across the organisation to improve quality in all divisions globally. This includes:

  • Building insights based on valid data and defining quality targets
  • Managing and supporting critical investigations of product and service quality issues.
  • Building quality mindset and Six Sigma capabilities across the GN Group.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Focus on capability building and structured investigation to support GN’s quality transformation:

  • Manage and support root cause investigations using Six Sigma tools and statistical methods.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to embed Six Sigma methodology across functions.
  • Mentor and coach quality leaders and cross-functional teams globally, in structured problem-solving.
  • Identify and elevate high-leverage improvement opportunities to strategic decision forums.
  • Establish governance around quality targets, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and Product Management to ensure alignment and impact.

To thrive in the role, we imagine that you:

  • A higher education in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • International accreditation as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Experience leading investigations and applying structured quality improvement methods.
  • Extensive background in capability building, including training design and delivery.
  • Solid experience in project management, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Excel in utilizing the MS office applications e.g. building visualizations in Power BI, setting up surveys in Forms and advanced data analysis in Excel
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying statistical software including Minitab
  • Familiarity with AI and Process Mining technologies
  • Highly capable in effectively communicating in English, both in writing and conversation.

Preferred (Not Required) Experience

  • Practical experience with Minitab or comparable statistical software
