Key Responsibilities Lead development of interactive dashboards and executive reports using Power BI. Design and manage paginated reports using SSRS and Report Builder. Develop optimized SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for enterprise reporting. Build advanced Excel models and automate reporting using VBA. Design and maintain robust data models using DAX in Power BI. Support reporting solutions within Microsoft Fabric (basic Lakehouse, Dataflow, or Workspace understanding). Collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements and define KPIs. Ensure data governance, validation, and reporting accuracy. Mentor junior analysts and review their deliverables. Improve reporting efficiency through automation and process optimization. Required Technical Skills Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, Macros) VBA for report automation Strong SQL (Joins, Indexing, Query Optimization, Stored Procedures) Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Performance Optimization, Row-Level Security) Tabular Editor (Best practices analyzer, model optimization, calculation groups) DAX Studio (Query performance tuning, DAX debugging, server timings, query plans) Report Builder (Paginated Reporting) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Fabric architecture Understanding of data warehousing concepts We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, along with strong skills in Power BI, SQL, Excel automation, and related BI tools.
