Responsibilities/Qualifications We are seeking an exceptional Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to transform complex data into the timely, actionable insights our leadership team needs to make informed decisions. In this role, you will transform large, disparate datasets from multiple systems into polished, automated visualizations and reporting. You will also identify manual, error-prone reporting processes and replace them with robust, automated solutions, ensuring that leadership has a clear view of company performance. This is a demanding role in a results-oriented environment with high expectations for agency, speed, and ownership. Key Responsibilities Visualization & Reporting: Design and build high-visibility dashboards and reporting that drive business behavior. You will architect polished visualizations in Power BI and build dashboards in Salesforce. Data Transformation (Power Query): You will act as the team’s expert in Power Query. You will build repeatable, automated workflows that extract, transform, and load large operational and financial datasets to produce actionable insights. Excel Expert: Build financial, operational, and relational data models in Excel. Process Automation: Analyze existing reporting workflows to identify inefficiencies. You will refactor fragmented, static spreadsheets into dynamic, scalable tools and build new, efficient processes. Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or FP&A with a proven track record of producing insights from large-scale financial and operational datasets. Excel Expert: You must be a master of the Excel data model (Power Pivot). We require deep proficiency in writing DAX measures within Excel to build robust, relational models that can handle millions of records of data. A live Excel case study will be a part of the interview process. Power Query Mastery: Demonstrated ability to use Power Query to automate complex ETL tasks and manipulate large-scale datasets to produce insights. Power BI Proficiency: Extensive experience building polished, interactive dashboards. You understand advanced DAX functions, data modeling best practices, and how to visualize data to tell a compelling business story. LLM Application: Demonstrated ability to use LLMs to accelerate data analysis, automate workflows, and increase overall productivity. Business Acumen: Ability to use data to answer complex business questions. You focus on outcomes, not just tools, ensuring your work directly supports decision-making. Education: Bachelor’s degree Misc: Basic knowledge of U.S. corporate accounting and finance concepts Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Expertise: Experience building and maintaining Salesforce reports and dashboards. Platform Experience: Experience working with data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, Essbase, ServiceNow, HubSpot. SQL & Python: Experience with SQL for basic data extraction and analysis. Python knowledge a plus. Prior experience working in a technology company or SaaS environment Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or other technical or quantitative discipline.
