Your tasks

• You will play a central role in the further development of the company-wide data landscape and coordinate data-related issues across different areas.
• Together with the specialist departments, you translate requirements into viable data, reporting and analytics solutions.
• You develop meaningful reports, dashboards and KPI structures and ensure that decision-relevant information is presented in an understandable way.
• You design and optimize data models and ensure that different data sources are consistently linked together.
• You design integration and ETL processes between internal applications, external systems and different data sources.
• You will further develop standards for data quality, governance and documentation and establish them sustainably within the company.
• You analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to further automate data flows and recurring procedures.
• In collaboration with the DevOps environment, you define technical requirements for scalable, stable, and secure data platforms.
• You document data models, interfaces, sources and technical relationships in such a way that long-term development of the data landscape is ensured.

Your profile

• You have a completed degree, vocational training or a comparable qualification with relevant reference to IT, data or business intelligence.
• You bring several years of professional experience in Data Solutions, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering or a comparable field.
• You have experience in gathering business requirements, critically examining them, and translating them into technical data solutions.
• SQL and relational databases are part of your daily work, for example based on Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL or PostgreSQL.
• You have practical experience with BI and visualization solutions such as Power BI or similar technologies.
• Topics such as ETL, data warehousing and data modeling are familiar to you from practical application.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms, especially in the Microsoft environment, as well as experience with APIs, different data formats or search and analysis platforms are advantageous.
• You combine a good technical understanding with high standards for data quality and sustainable solution architectures.
• You can explain complex concepts clearly to both technical teams and specialist departments.
• For collaboration in a German- and English-speaking environment, you have excellent communication skills (C1) in both languages.
