  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative business analysis and forecasting, leveraging advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and synthesize data into clear insights
  • Experience in driving annual planning processes and facilitating executive-level business reviews
  • Outstanding communicator, capable of presenting complex financial and business data and insights to C-level executives
  • Expert in SQL and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Periscope) for large scale data manipulation and dashboard creation
  • A bias towards impact, you focus on what’s the most important and have a track record of delivering impact-at-scale from ideation through execution (and the KPIs to show it)
  • A passion for data, you have a deep curiosity for how data is structured, how it ties to business performance, and you’re always looking for ways to improve

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expert proficiency (5+ years) in SQL and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, DataBricks)
  • Experience driving annual planning processes and facilitating exec level reviews
  • Expert proficiency in financial/operations modeling and forecasting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in B2B/SaaS
  • Experience in a fast-paced technology or real estate company
  • Experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence
  • 2+ years of business consulting experience

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Performance Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for taking on large, ambiguous projects that directly impact our business performance. You are impact oriented and love data, and can tie your analysis back to how the numbers are driving results (for customers, growth strategies, and the bottom line). You will be responsible for defining and reporting on key business drivers, leveraging data to uncover insights and opportunities, and preparing and presenting information to leadership.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Independently lead performance data analysis, content creation, and presentations that deliver key strategic insights to an executive audience
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated analysis, models, and forecasts using advanced techniques (e.g., regression, time series decomposition, seasonality, sensitivity)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and provide thought leadership in creating, maintaining, and documenting business performance metrics and forecasts
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to improve performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales, engineering, analytics, finance) to monitor progress and variations towards goals)
  • Own the “rhythm of the business” by driving weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasting and business performance updates to senior leaders, and responding to ad-hoc requests
  • Develop a deep understanding of our data and collaborate with engineering, BI, and data science to improve data quality and accessibility in-line with business goals
  • Help guide and mentor junior analysts on the team
  • Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) and reports to provide compelling, clear, and powerful visualizations of our data
    This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
    In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $117,400.00 - $187,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
    In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
