ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Support Assistant with strong administrative background to join our team at our Moran Sylvania home, located in the Sutherland Shire.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Capability to perform routine administration tasks with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service, organisational and time management skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 1+ year working in a high-volume administrative role
  • Roster or scheduling experience will be highly regarded
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Current police check and influenza vaccine (or willingness to obtain) and valid working rights

Responsibilities
  • Reception including answer telephones and respond to general enquiries
  • Support the recruitment, induction, and orientation process for new employees
  • Communicate relevant information and requests to employees and residents promptly and accurately
  • Prepare documents, reports and correspondence
  • Create documents and manage employee and staff files and records
  • Support Management team with day-to-day administrative activities
  • Assist with the establishment of new residents
  • Assist with planning events, meetings and luncheons
  • Complete purchase orders
  • Prepare minutes of meetings
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks
