Graham Technologies is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support mission-critical projects that require a deep understanding of business needs, user-centered design, and agile delivery. This role plays a key part in bridging the gap between user requirements and product implementation, focusing on usability, user adoption, and driving forward digital transformation efforts.
Location: Washington, DC

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must possess active DoD TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Experience gathering and managing business requirements in an Agile development environment.
  • Past performance creating user stories and business requirements to support system or product development.
  • Documented Concepts of Operations (ConOps), story maps, or similar tools to translate business needs into technical documentation
  • Experience in documenting business rules and creating workflow or process diagrams (e.g., BPMN, Visio)?
  • Experience analyzing complex documentation and solving problems that involve multiple solution options using analytical or quantitative methods

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Certification in project or program management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or equivalent
Responsibilities
  • Lead the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs, from initial prioritization through concept development.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear user stories to support system development and deployment.
  • Facilitate business-focused requirement sessions with product teams and product owners to build and refine the backlog.
  • Ensure the user perspective is embedded throughout the product lifecycle to enhance usability and adoption.
  • Use Agile methodologies to drive user engagement and deliver improved user experience.
  • Analyze and decompose core business needs into Concepts of Operations (ConOps), story maps, and user briefings.
  • Develop and maintain business rules and construct workflow diagrams to support documentation and development needs.
  • Provide expert consultation on complex projects, evaluating the business impacts of technology adoption in both current and future environments.
  • Solve multi-option business problems through strong analytical and quantitative reasoning.
