Senior Business Systems Analyst
Play an instrumental role in articulating the functional needs and translating them into effective IT solutions that will support the overall University goals. This position is responsible for the technical implementation and support of the university Mark Entry System, Transcript Printing System and other IT initiatives. The incumbent will collaborate closely with OAS and other relevant units to analyze and define user requirements, recommend suitable IT solutions; manage projects and change implementation; as well as liaise with vendors to ensure seamless system support and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project planning, monitoring, and execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Analyze business processes, gather business requirements, and translate into functional specifications.
• Regular project updates to stakeholders and address any arising issues.
• Support multiple applications and platforms while ensuring adherence to IT policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
• Assess and optimize system performance to drive improvements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience, ideally in IT or higher education environment, with at least 5 years of experience in requirements gathering, documentation, systems analysis and design.
• Experience with Training Management system, CRM software; and data analysis tools such as Power BI, QlikSense etc. preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
• Ability to design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications to meet business requirements.
