Description
Description HyerTek is a Microsoft-first consultancy serving United States Federal Government clients. We're looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst who understands enterprise systems—ERP, financial management, supply chain, HR, and service operations—and can translate federal stakeholder needs into working solutions. You don't need to know our exact toolset coming in. You need to know how to run a requirements session, document business processes, spot gaps, and write specs that technical teams can build from. If you've done this work on SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar platforms, you have the foundation. We'll get you up to speed on Microsoft's stack. Requirements Lead requirements gathering sessions with federal stakeholders across finance, operations, HR, and service delivery functions Document current-state and future-state business processes Analyze gaps between client needs and system capabilities; recommend configuration or customization approaches Gather and document requirements for financial management systems (general ledger, AP/AR, budgeting, procurement) Gather and document requirements for service management systems (case management, work orders, scheduling, SLAs) Facilitate sessions on workflow optimization and business process automation Translate reporting needs into dashboard and analytics requirements Apply data modeling skills to design database structures and business rules Develop functional specifications for technical teams Support UAT, training, and go-live activities Write user documentation and training materials Required Qualifications 5+ years as a functional consultant, systems analyst, or business analyst on enterprise system implementations (ERP, CRM, ITSM, or HCM platforms) Solid understanding of core business domains: financial management, procurement, and/or service operations Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements for complex, integrated systems Strong data modeling fundamentals Excellent written and verbal communication—able to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams Comfortable working with federal clients and navigating government processes Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Background in SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise platforms Federal or DoD project experience Familiarity with federal financial management requirements Consulting background with multiple client engagements Relevant certifications (platform-specific or business analysis) Clearance & Work Authorization This position requires U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret Department of Defense clearance. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. HyerTek will not sponsor applicants for a U.S. work visa status for this opportunity. Salary Range $110,000 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience and clearance status. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) HyerTek is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, or any other protected status.
Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering sessions with federal stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications for enterprise systems. Document current and future state processes and support UAT, training, and go-live activities.
