Reporting to the Manager, Business & Systems Analysis Chapter, the Senior Business & Systems Consultant will be a key member of the Advisor Digital Journey Leadership Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of advisor experiences and drive strategic initiatives within Sun Life’s Retail Advice and Solutions (RA&S) division.
As part of this leadership team, you will possess deep knowledge of diverse business concepts, practices, and procedures related to technology and operations in the financial services industry. You will rely on your expertise, experience, and judgment to plan and achieve goals across various workstreams. The Senior Business & Systems Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving success by conducting thorough needs analyses to identify areas for improvement and growth. This professional then translates these insights into comprehensive requirements, establishing the foundation for effective system design.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• As a key member of the Advisor Digital Journey Leadership Team within RA&S, you will analyze and define user needs and translate them into system capabilities to be transitioned to Hubs/Squads for refinement and implementation
• Assess current state process and systems to determine how future changes will impact systems, processes, procedures, and clients throughout the organization.
• Track deliverables and drive discussions to make solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders throughout the organization to define problem statements, business scope, and prioritize features.
• Act in an advisory capacity as well as coach/mentor to Business & Systems Analysts.
