Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

The senior business systems analyst will be primarily responsible for managing product backlog items, small projects, enhancements, and bug fixes. This role will gather both business and technical requirements, document, verify, and refine new and existing requirements for AI-based solutions. This role will also facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team. Additionally, the senior business systems analyst may assist with user acceptance testing as needed. The role will report to the application analysis manager, while receiving day-to-day guidance from a project manager, manager, or director.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in AI/ML tools and platforms such as CoPilot, TensorFlow, Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, IntelliSuite AI/mavQ, and Inerate.ai.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects or systems concurrently.
  • Experienced in workflow analysis, AI integrations, APIs, and overall ERP system design.
  • Skilled in writing user stories using the 3W format (who, what, and why).
  • Familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS) or other lifecycle management tools like JIRA.
  • Able to gather, refine, and validate complex business requirements, interdependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Experienced in drafting user stories and requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in data mapping activities.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining flow diagrams using Lucid Charts and/or Microsoft Visio.
  • Experienced in managing process analysis and improvement activities affecting multiple teams and departments.
  • Skilled at identifying, recommending, and implementing solutions to enhance enterprise-wide systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills, delivering results alongside peers, customers, and vendors.
  • Experienced with minor production support, including incident resolution.
  • Additional (optional) experience includes:
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Experience in the public sector at the municipal/county level.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, managing incident tickets.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough business analysis to gather and define requirements for AI-based solutions, working with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and IT teams to design and optimize AI-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Analyze data flows and business operations to identify areas for AI implementation, focusing on process improvements and automation.

  • Write user stories with the 3W (the who, the what, and the why) format as well as document Acceptance Criteria using the Azure DevOps tool)
  • Support the development and implementation of AI adoption strategies, ensuring end-users understand the value and functionality of new systems.
  • Partner with multiple agencies to understand known and needed business processes, system requirements, and integration requirements
  • Create and maintain functional process analysis documentation such as data mapping, process flows, and requirements documents which identifies and recommends resolution of any process/system/integration-related gaps with the pre-existing templates provided by the project team
  • Perform technical process evaluation, analysis, along with recommending fixes
  • Partner with the QA team to support User Acceptance Testing when needed
  • May provide go-live support and immediate post-production support activities as needed
  • Attend and participate in SCRUM ceremonies with the core team (SA, developers, QA analysts, Prod Support Analyst, and the product portfolio administrator)
  • Follow TS best practices, including documentation, project, and change management processes
    Pay range: $65-75/hr
