We want you to think big and act bold through expressing your authentic best self! Anaplan is looking for a tenacious Business Value Consultant to join our Business Value & Strategy Team. The Business Value Consultant will be a core member of the team which is dedicated to developing transformational planning visions and roadmaps with our most strategic customers around the world. The team focuses on influential customer interactions, sales strategies grounded in business impact and the assets required to guide customers through their connected planning maturity. Working collaboratively across various functions within Anaplan, we are thought-leaders in planning transformations in the areas of finance, supply-chain, sales and workforce planning across Anaplan’s industries. We also provide customers guidance and best practices in capturing the value from these transformations.
The team focuses on key customer interactions, sales strategies grounded in business impact and the deliverables required to guiding the customer in creating the business justification needed to pursue the connected planning vision.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, YOUR INFLUENCE

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills:

  • Confirmed experience in value engineering, value selling, strategic consulting and F500 account sales in cloud application environments. Deep understanding of value selling methodology and processes, business model value chain, and value realization.
  • Strong discernment in the business process areas of Planning & Analysis (Financial and Operational).
  • Proven skill in facilitation of complex problem solving with groups of senior executives.
  • Strong acuity in providing valuable insights to, and influence of, internal GTM teams and external customers.
  • Ability to drive qualitative and quantitative analysis in support of targeted key opportunities.
  • Experience supporting the building and the continuous improvement of a GTM value practice.
  • Ability to travel for both customer engagements and internal meetings as necessary (50-75% post WFH environment)

Responsibilities

THIS ROLE WILL HAVE THE COMBINED RESPONSIBILITIES OF:

  • As part of account teams and in collaboration with select customers, leading the creation of vision and roadmap documents used by senior executives to drive business impact.
  • Developing perspectives and the supporting materials to amplify the Anaplan stories of business transformation and impact.
  • Scaling impact by creating re-usable assets for others across Anaplan to elevate their customer engagements
