With a new Procurement & Supply Chain Management organisation in place, Fugro is growing and creating value on sustainable scale with its Supplier Base.
For our Leidschendam office (moving to Nootdorp by November 2025) we are looking for a Senior Buyer – Indirect Services to join our Procurement team. In this role you team up with your direct Senior Buyer colleagues to further shape this position. You are responsible for the Indirect Services only, but with the aim that you and your direct colleague build a strong collaboration in which you become each other’s right hand and interchangeable.

Your role

• You are responsible for strategic categories related to the support functions within Fugro, like 3rd party contracting, Facilities, local Consultants, Training & Development, Innovation, Insurance, Sustainability, etc.;
• You actively engage with our Netherlands ‘Land’ business line, develop key relationships with stakeholders and supply partners to assess supply chain risk, create sourcing strategies, and identify potential cost reduction and valuable opportunities for Fugro;
• You work with the global, regional and other country Procurement & Supply Chain teams in developing best practices, supporting the P2P processes in the Shared Service Centre, and supporting the roll-out of the new ERP system;
• You proactively reinforce general and legal compliance and requirements regarding quality, health, safety, sustainability and environment (including ESG & CBAM);
• You assist in developing best in class processes, procedures and category management;
• You participate in multidisciplinary project meetings or corporate meetings related to other important strategic development subjects.

Your track record

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Law or similar;.
• You ideally have or are working towards a professional qualification (e.g. MCIPS, NEVI II);
• You have a minimum of 5 years of Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management and/or Procurement Management experience within a matrix organisation;
• You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in Dutch and English (both written & oral);
• You have a proven ability to influence, negotiate and challenge but also nurture strong collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, at all levels, and are able to motivate and empower teams;
• You are analytical, have a process-oriented mind set and are supportive to the business.
