EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

  • 3-5 years of Logistics and multi-DC Purchasing experience required.
  • Hight school diploma or above education is required.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build strong relationships between Centralized Purchasing and Distribution Center teams.
  • Create the right environment for world class functional performance and customer support excellence.
  • Collaborate with both Distribution Center and Corporate Category Managers teams to implement global sourcing strategies for assigned product categories.
  • Overseas and maintains inventory for JIT Sales at DC level
  • Research, analyze, and forecast current and future buying trends, markets, styles, and products, with attention to specified target market and demographics.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.
  • Be acting as a quality assurance professional – working with DC’s as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department for the payment of invoices/QC claims/Short pay’s
  • Inbound shipment coordination with 3PL, tracking Liaison from CM Team to DC (FOB to DC) for specified Commodities
  • Freight Consolidation and savings (YOY Savings targets)
  • Allocate new freight lanes and rates for commodity programs/DC’s
  • Shipment Tracking and Documentation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
