OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Buyer NPI to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the purchasing process, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services necessary for our manufacturing operations. This position requires a strong background in vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation, with a focus on optimizing supply chain efficiency.

  • The Buyer works closely with all DART engineering departments to make sure the purchasing needs of materials are met in accordance with schedule.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring vendors to ensure compliance to schedule
  • Demonstrated background in delivering results.
  • Able to creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and materials.
  • Possesses a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Able to multitask effectively as well as demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven experience working as an NPI buyer
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow-up multiple projects which can occur or overlap at the same time.
  • Organized in such a way that problems, their solutions, decisions and required follow up are close at hand and can be
  • reported to the management in real time.
