Position Level: Intermediate or experienced level Position Type: Full Time (8am-5pm) Monday-Friday JOB SUMMARY The Buyer will collaborate directly with the Vice President of Sales and top-level Management to source product and manage inventory levels across multiple product categories. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Maintain adequate inventory levels for to meet customer demands through safety stock, min/max, historical, as well as other directed criteria. · Negotiate pricing with suppliers and drive cost savings programs to achieve the best cost, quality, and delivery timelines · Head up onboarding new suppliers and develop new relationships across multiple product categories · Manage regular supplier invoice resolution, including interfacing with the warehouse, accounts payable, and suppliers · Formulate sourcing strategies to support short-term and long-term operational requirements. · Lead and support purchasing team · Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements · 4+ Years of supply chain, purchasing and/or inventory management experience. · Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills; can interact with a variety of coworkers and business stakeholders, establishing positive professional relationships · Demonstrated team player with an initiative to win · Strong organizational skills; excellent attention to detail · Must possess working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
