ENDEGO is a cross-industry provider of comprehensive high-class engineering solutions for automotive, railway, maritime and aerospace industries.
For our Client, an international automotive company, we are currently looking for a Senior Buyer.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in industrial engineering, business administration with a technical background, or engineering with business education; comparable experience is also welcome
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic and project purchasing, specifically in the automotive industry with a focus on plastic injection molding parts
  • In-depth knowledge of injection molding, tools, and the supplier market
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English; German is a plus
  • Highly motivated with excellent analytical skills, particularly in cost and value stream analysis
  • Proficient in SAP, MS Office, SRM/Sourcing platforms, etc
  • Ability to address challenges efficiently and think creatively
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a sub-commodity with full E2E responsibility for all suppliers and delivery items
  • Develop and oversee the supplier pool, including selection, approval, and phase-out processes
  • Conduct regular benchmarking, negotiations on contracts, pricing, and conditions, and ensure proper administration
  • Maintain core data, track KPIs, savings, and ensure up-to-date savings forecasts
  • Manage the supplier portfolio in line with the commodity strategy, focusing on risk management and building strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Implement sub-commodity strategies, sourcing, and contract management in alignment with the Commodity Manager
  • Oversee procurement of materials, delivery items, tools, and equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and value
  • Continuously identify savings opportunities and support make-or-buy decisions
  • Support pre-development and acquisition activities in Phase-0 of the sales team
  • Act as the interface between suppliers and the company, handling escalations and addressing all supplier-related issues
