Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

AMD is looking for a Senior C++ Engineer passionate about driving the cutting-edge GPU Modeling and algorithm design for AMD’s next generation IP design. As a member of the Radeon Technologies Group, you will be developing functional models while working closely with architecture, IP design, and core verification teams to achieve first pass silicon success. This will involve new feature implementation, issue triage, and design solutions. The ideal candidate with have proven experience with Object-Oriented Design and low-level hardware knowledge of the graphics pipeline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the development of C/C++ simulation models for silicon architecture and algorithm evaluation, performance analysis and hardware verification.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as HW/SW Co-design, RTL design, verification, emulation, post silicon validation, firmware and software development, in the use and support of building ASIC architecture and simulation models to ensure first pass silicon success and rapid deployment.
  • Develop and debug complex code, on a large-scale codebase and version control systems.
