About the job

We are seeking a highly motivated, senior C# .NET Developer to lead the design, development, and support of a browser-based, global financial compliance system. This role focuses on delivering high-performance solutions for global markets technology, requiring strong technical leadership and deep technical expertise across both UI and database layers.

*6 month contract to start but expected to roll/extend (for years usually)

*3 days per week onsite

*Daily rate between 550-720 per day

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with C# .NET including LINQ expressions, asynchronous patterns, and data serialization (XML/JSON).
• 3+ years of experience in responsive UI development using ASP.NET MVC 5.x, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap 3, and AJAX.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012+) and T-SQL, including database design, query optimization, execution plan analysis, and stored procedure development.
• Proven capability to make architectural decisions, estimate effort accurately, and recommend innovative technology alternatives.
• Direct experience with Git (GitFlow), Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, and JIRA.
• 3+ years of experience working within an Agile framework, alongside TDD practices (NUnit/xUnit, Moq) and Selenium web testing.
• Exceptionally clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and business partners.
• Desirable to have experience within Finance/Banking sector
