We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer with recent hands-on PKCS#11 development experience to join our client Thales in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++ (7+ years) and proven experience in cryptographic standards (PKCS#11) for mission-critical systems.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of professional experience in C/C++ development
• Strong hands-on expertise in PKCS#11 standard (client or library implementation) – recent experience is a must
• Solid experience in multithreading & concurrency
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with gRPC & Protobuf (6+ months)
• Experience with REST APIs in C++ (6+ months)
• Exposure to JetStream (nice to have)
• Familiarity with Docker/Podman containers
• Experience with unit testing & BDD practices
