QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. or M.S. in electrical/computer engineering or related engineering disciplines. Relevant work experience in industry commensurate to the title.

SKILLS

  • B.S. or M.S. in electrical/computer engineering or related engineering disciplines. Relevant work experience in industry commensurate to the title.
  • Excellent technical understanding of custom/AMS design flows in one or more of the following areas – advanced silicon node technology, custom layout, foundry PDK support, transistor-level and gate-level RC extraction, physical verification (DRC/LVS/ERC), analog simulators (especially for high-frequency RF designs), packaging tools and SI/PI analysis.
  • Expertise in Cadence or Synopsys custom layout (back-end) and design/simulation (front-end) platforms.
  • Expertise in Linux, Python, Tcl, Skill, and/or Bash.
  • Competency in foundry PDK enablement and customization.
  • High-level communication and organizational/execution skill to effectively drive CAD projects and priorities with Credo design teams and design tool vendors.

Pay: $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage the CAD requirements for various custom analog-mixed signal (AMS) design developments at Credo.
  • Implement best-in-class CAD AMS and physical verification flows.
  • Develop internal scripts/flows to –
  • Improve design quality and consistent implementation via the best known methodology.
  • Enable meaningful design audit and progress/resource tracking.
  • Proactively QA EDA tool flows.
  • Coordinate tool usage and training for designers.
  • Actively participate in CAD infrastructure planning with IT to improve productivity.
  • Support tool bugs and issues, working closely with world-wide design teams and EDA vendors.
