Cake Decorator
Duties:
- Create and decorate custom cakes for various occasions, including birthdays, weddings, and special events
- Use artistic skills to design and execute unique cake designs
- Prepare icing, frosting, and other cake decorations
- Ensure cakes are baked and decorated according to customer specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide recommendations on cake designs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience as a cake decorator in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
- Strong artistic skills with the ability to create visually appealing cake designs
- Knowledge of different cake decorating techniques and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers and team members
