What's the role about? Senior Campaign Operations Manager GIG Retail (a Smollan company) Full Time, Permanent Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + annual bonus scheme Working: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per weekLocation: Hybrid - 3 days from home and 2 days in our Leeds Head Office! The role: To support the Head of Client Operations to deliver operational excellence within our client facing campaign execution work and to support winning and onboarding new clients within the campaign ops area. The Senior Campaign Operations Manager will manage a team of Campaign Managers/Executives within set client remits and oversee delivery of day-to-day campaign management, media execution, creative execution and campaign reporting for brands on behalf of specific retail clients. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head of Client Operations to onboard new clients into campaign ops (propose, document and govern all end-to-end campaign implementation processes ultimately ensuring that all implementation/compliance SLAs are met on new clients) Support the Head of Client Operations to recruit and develop a team of campaign operations Managers and Executives on new client teams Act as an inspirational leader to your direct reports and the wider business and ensure we remain a Great Place to Work Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Management of 3rd parties & media partners from creation to execution for both printed and digital media on named clients, ensuring they hit their SLAs Troubleshoot campaign delivery and compliance / PCA reporting issues Manage and coach a team of Campaign Ops Executive(s) / Manager(s) on client facing campaign management tasks Collaborate with the media proposition & insights teams to integrate new media into campaign management and reporting processes Collaborate with the platforms teams to ensure operational efficiencies within the campaign management processes Be the BAU senior contact for specific retail clients to ensure bookings and artwork align to guidelines and templates and therefore reduce approvals/amends time, ensuring critical paths are adhered to Provide clear visibility to the Client Partner/Director(s) and Head of Client Operations of team delivery What we’re looking for A confident, hands-on leader who can build and manage high-performing teams Exceptionally organised with a process-driven mindset and strong attention to detail A natural collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally across teams Proactive and solutions-focused, with a calm and confident approach to problem-solving Experienced in end-to-end campaign delivery across digital and print media Strong client relationship builder, confident engaging at mid to senior level Skilled at managing third parties and media partners to meet deadlines and SLAs Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); BI tools a bonus Passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvement Qualifications, Training or Education: Degree level qualification Experience: Experience within media campaign management either on client or agency side Line management experience Experience working towards strict deadlines across multiple tasks Previous work with relevant 3rd parties e.g. CMS providers, media owners, printers Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Understanding of all component parts of the client facing GIG business – media proposition, commercial sales, campaign management and media evaluation Knowledge of Salesforce, Media Metrics, Monday.com Familiarity and understanding of retail media, media platforms and media planning What we’ll give you: A fast-paced, supportive team where you’ll be trusted to deliver Full training and opportunities to grow The chance to work with global brands and international campaigns A culture that’s big on teamwork, celebrating wins, and having fun Hybrid working with flexibility We value people at heart: At GIG, we believe in building a workplace where everyone feels they belong.
