Graymont is seeking a seasoned project manager with expertise in guiding a complex program of capital transformation projects to lead our global lime-based, low carbon cementitious solutions (LCCS) capital program and to manage certain specific capital projects under the program. This role requires a professional who sees the bigger picture, embraces inquisitiveness, comfortably navigates ambiguity, and thrives on urgency and execution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Professional Experience:
o Proven track record managing all phases of capital projects with a cost of $100M+, ideally for at least 15 years.
o Complex Project experience in industrial capital projects, ideally in material processing and handling, mining, energy or production processes.
Language Requirements: English fluency is required; proficiency in a second business related language is considered an asset.

o Decision-Making and Analytical Skills: proven experience, critical analysis to achieve strategic goals and sound judgement to address tough issues confidently.
o Leadership, Responsibility, and Initiative: demonstrate a sense of urgency, self-driven.

Travel Component: Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.

Program Development and Management:
o Develop a network-based program framework with the functional leaders, including Director, Sales and Distribution, aligned with corporate objectives.
o Define workstream objectives and coordinate sourcing, market assessments, product development, and quality standards.
o Oversee program execution, managing scope, timelines, capital, resources, with focus on regional growth priorities and market-entry goals.
o Implement and lead portfolio reporting, performance monitoring, communication plans, and stakeholder coordination, with ongoing risk vs. benefits focus.
o Lead risk management and mitigation assessments to ensure successful multi-year program delivery.
Oversight of Project Management within the LCCS Program:
o Coordinate multi-functional workstream activities and project initiation, including scope statements, stakeholder analysis, and risk management.
o Define project scope, collaborate on technology, and prepare permit strategies; determine locations based on market capacity and product mix analysis.
o Lead stakeholder analysis, resource acquisition, communication plans, engineering scope, and infrastructure roadmap.
o Oversee project execution with defined timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
o Ensure successful multi-year project delivery, mitigating risks, balancing priorities, and adhering to safety, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
