APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

The successful candidate will be expected to work in ambulatory ECG monitor service, Exercise Tolerance Test and Head-up Tilt Test (HUTT). Will also support development and education of junior members of the team, like junior cardiac physiologists, cardiographers and apprentices.
The post holder should be proficient at ECG interpretation, holter analysis and be able to lead exercise tolerance testing.
The candidate must be able to perform resting ECGs and Cardiac Physiologist led exercise stress tests, hooking-up and analyses of 24hr ECG and non-invasive blood pressure ambulatory monitoring and assist with HUTT. Must be able to understand and interpret the results of these tests.
The candidate must also be able to work without supervision and understand the basic guidelines and procedures required to perform clinical tests and demonstrate that they can carry these out to the required standards.
