JOB SUMMARY

• Getting to know residents and their interests and needs
• Administering medication
• Undertake daily record keeping duties
• Helping with personal care like washing, using the toilet and dressing
• Serving out meals, drinks and snacks
• Carrying out general tasks like housework, laundry and shopping

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Care Assistant
• The candidate must have QCF Level 3 qualifications.
• Bloomfield requires two references.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Bloomfield also expects the candidate to fund their DBS which would be refunded after a successful probationary period.
• The candidate must be able to work as part of a team and alone, and have good leadership skills.
• Must be a motivated individual with a genuine passion for working in the care sector
