YOUR ROLE:
As a Senior Care Assistant you will provide both hands-on support to residents and leadership to junior care staff within our local care home. Providing direct caregiving with supervisory responsibilities, you will ensure that our high standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
· Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
· Promote dignity, independence, and individual rights of residents.
· Supervise and support junior care staff and new team members.
· Monitoring residents’ conditions and report any changes to senior management or nursing staff.
· Communicate effectively with residents, ensuring they feel listened to and respected.
· Ensure the care environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
