We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant with a strong background in delivering care. You will focus on providing exceptional, specialist support to clients rather than management or supervisory responsibilities. You will work directly with clients in their own homes, delivering high-quality, person-centred care, including supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours. As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Delivering specialist and complex care & support in line with each client’s individual needs. Supporting individuals living with dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke and end-of-life care needs. Providing positive support for behaviours that may challenge Assisting with tasks including personal care, mobility and light household tasks. Administering and supporting with medication. Shopping, preparing meals and supporting nutrition & hydration. Promoting emotional & mental wellbeing and independence whilst encouraging community engagement. Maintaining accurate digital care record and following CQC guidance. Reporting any safeguarding concerns or changed in client needs to the office. As an experienced Senior Care Assistant, you will have: Essential A minimum of 5 years’ experience in care A Full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle that can be used for work purposes Strong experience in complex care and specialist conditions Proven ability to support individuals with challenging behaviours Excellent understanding of person-centred care approaches Confident using digital care systems and recording tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desirable NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care Care Certificate Understanding of CQC standards and expectations We are not able to offer any form of sponsorship including transfers.
