JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our care home. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role within a care home setting is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with residents and their families compassionately.
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Proficient IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support junior care staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of residents’ progress and changes in condition.
  • Foster effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss resident care and improve service delivery.
  • Drive residents to appointments or social activities as required.
