We are now looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to lead and inspire our care team, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of support and comfort in a warm, respectful environment. This is an excellent opportunity to take on more responsibility while continuing to make a meaningful difference every day.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
You will hold a minimum of SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and ideally have experience in a similar senior care role. We welcome applications from experienced Care Assistants working towards their Level 3. Medication training with up-to-date competencies is essential. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, the confidence to lead a shift, and a kind, compassionate approach to care.
ABOUT US:
Deeside Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family-owned, market-leading care provider with over 100 homes across the United Kingdom. We are committed to delivering outstanding care in specialist settings and creating supportive workplaces where our teams can grow and flourish.
Our five core values — Trust, Respect, Passion, Kindness, and Inclusivity — define everything we do. If you share these values and want to bring your skills to a role where you are truly appreciated, we would love to hear from you
As Senior Care Assistant, you will coordinate shifts, support residents with personal care, and ensure medication is administered safely and correctly. You will lead by example, promote dignity and independence, maintain accurate documentation, and create a positive atmosphere in the home. You’ll also be a key link between the care team, families, and healthcare professionals.
