Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to elderly individuals in their daily activities. Your role will involve ensuring their well-being, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. Duties: - Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment - Plan and engage residents in recreational activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the appropriate personnel - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Care Assistant or similar role in a senior care setting - Knowledge of elderly care principles and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Empathy and patience when dealing with elderly individuals - Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from supervisors - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Valid CPR certification is preferred Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Opportunities for career advancement within the organization - Comprehensive training programs to enhance your skills - Supportive work environment that values teamwork and collaboration If you are passionate about providing high-quality care to seniors and making a positive impact in their lives, we would love to hear from you.
