Team Leader (Senior Care Assistant)

Are you an experienced Care Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? Brantley Manor Care Home is looking for a compassionate, professional and motivated Team Leader to join our dedicated care team.

This is a hands-on role, combining direct resident care with leadership responsibilities. Working closely with the management team, you will lead by example, support colleagues during each shift, administer medication, and help ensure our residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and supporting the care team on shift
• Administering medication safely and accurately
• Ensuring residents receive exceptional person-centred care
• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' wellbeing
• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
• Working closely with families, healthcare professionals and colleagues
• Promoting dignity, independence and choice for every resident
• Acting as a role model and mentor for care staff

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader role
• Medication administration experience
• Good leadership and communication skills
• A caring, compassionate and positive attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure and support a team
• A genuine passion for providing outstanding care to older people
