JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have experience in supervising staff, ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both residents and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a care home or senior care setting is essential.
  • Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathy and understanding.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and documentation purposes.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Medication Training.
